During the partial renovation of a school in Vienna’s 21st district, a novel product range from Pipelife passed its baptism of fire with flying colors: The new lavatory cistern systems together with the renovated plumbing system now ensure a completely modern sanitary installation for teachers and pupils.
In the summer of 2020, the pupil’s holidays were used to carry out a partial renovation of a school in 1210 Vienna. In the course of the project, the executing installation company FH-Installationen e.U. not only renovated the plumbing system, but also renewed all of the lavatory facilities. In the process, the new Flush & Flow lavatory mounting element experienced its first large-scale application: 33 new sets have been installed during the complete renovation of the facilities.
People Besides their optical aspects and top-quality, the new toilet cistern systems from the Flush & Flow range score particularly highly for their technical features: Installers benefit from the ease of assembly. Screw heads can be tightened using only one wrench size. Additionally, all elements that must be fixed, adjusted or fitted, are marked red. This saves time during installation which is a deciding factor in projects as big as the renovation of this school
Customers benefit from durability: The spare part guarantee of 25 years contributes to the long-term use of the premium lavatory frames. Good value for money: “An additional aspect that definitely spoke in favour of the lavatory frames, is the attractive price” says Fourough Ahmad proprietor of FH-Installationen e.U.
The new toilet cistern systems together with the Radopress and Master 3 Plus Pipes, that were also installed, ensure a modern, perfectly matching sanitary system in the school. In such a big development project, it is vital to opt for uncompromising product compatibility. For the drainage pipes, the extremely robust and sound-absorbing Master 3 Plus system was used which can be optimally combined with the lavatory toilet cistern systems and contributes towards long-term usage. Additionally, the Radopress multi-layer composite pipe system ensures long-lasting, leak-proof hot and cold water supply.
One dominant challenge in this project was time pressure. The work could only be carried out during the holidays so as not to disturb school-life. It was therefore especially important that the products were available on time. Thanks to the construction logistics, this was absolutely no problem: In each case, deliveries were made on the next working day after the order had been placed, from the Pipelife central warehouse in Krems directly to the construction site.
Another important point for the timely completion of a large project such as the renovation of the primary school: perfect cooperation and coordination between decision makers. For the realization of the project, municipal department 34 commissioned the company FH-Installationen e.U. who worked in close collaboration with the Pipelife Field Manager in charge, Marc Pampusch. Fourough Ahmad said the following about the collaboration: “During my professional career, I have frequently applied Pipelife products and have always been satisfied with the cost-performance ratio. Not only product quality, but also service quality has led to the fact that I gladly sought out Pipelife’s offering after founding my own company. Pipelife’s project support is always very good.”
